How to make your own hair conditioner

Making your own natural hair conditioner is a great way to target hair care treatments to your specific hair type - without unhealthy chemicals or synthetic additives.

Conditioning helps protect your hair from stressors such as weather, heat-styling, hormone fluctuations, poor diet, etc.

Conditioning also re-moisturizes dry hair and forms a protective layer around the entire hair shaft, which helps reduce split ends and breakage.

Avocado Deep Conditioner

  • 1/2 mashed ripe avocado

  • 1/2 tsp olive oil

  • 3 drops lavender or rosemary essential oil

Combine ingredients and apply to hair, focusing on the ends. Leave on for at least 10 minutes, then rinse.
